Craziness!

With a high of 15C (59F) yesterday people were out in flip flops and shorts, BBQ’ing outside with friends and having drinks on patios all over the city. What we woke up to this morning:

Concert!

For a 62 year old...Rod Stewart can still put on a live show for 2 1/2 hours! He is funny, and most importantly he is human and can laugh at himself. Great show!

WOWEE!

A beautiful day here...blue skies, no wind, snow is melting and it is 14C (57F) here. So in celebration...I got my first slurpee of the year:) It's a good thing.

Day trip!

A quick day trip to Canmore and Banff was just what the doctor ordered. It's always great to get out of town with a friend for the day. Deidre and I spent time in the boutiques and stores, ate lunch in a great little restaurant, stopped at a couple look out points and had dessert in this cute coffee shop in Banff. A beautiful day with beautiful scenery, and a great way to end the long weekend:)

Cold!

Some crazy weather here as of late. We've had more snow in the last couple of weeks than we have had our entire winter. Woke up this morning to find that the temperature is -34C (-29F) with windchill. BURR!! I do love the cold though (weird, I know) and what it looks like. When it is so cold you can see it hanging in the air. Here are a few shots from this morning...

Concert!

Barenaked Ladies rocked the Dome tonight! Had a fabulous time again seeing them perform with all their energy and fun. True performers that obviously love what they do! So much fun!
