LIVE FAST!
It was a hot weekend, two long days in the sun and one sunburn later the Grand Prix of Edmonton was great! So much fun...so much to see. As their motto says "LIVE FAST."

Banff/Canmore/Lake Louise mini-road trip!
Shannon and I took off from the city for the day on Sunday to the mountains. Ahhhhh...the fresh mountain air was fabulous! This has got to be one of the best ways to just take a step away from life and relax. Amazing scenery, crisp mountain air...I love it there:) A few shots from the day...

Mini snow...
As well, this afternoon, with all the hail we had it seemed afterwards as though we had had a mini snow storm with the piles of "white" that was left behind. A strange day indeed:)
Sun dog!
Tonight on the way home from a movie, Shannon noticed that there was one sun dog (also known as mock suns) in the sky. I don't know why but I have always loved them. I wasn't able to take a picture myself, but I found this one and it's very similar to what we saw tonight. There is something mysterious about them, and we don't see them that often in the summer months so it was nice surprise:)
