Vee Dub With The Most Love!

This past weekend I entered Vivian (my beloved VW) in the Vee Dub With The Most Love contest that was being held at two VW dealerships in town. The objective was to have the highest odometer reading in a car that was still drivable.

I thought that Vivian and I had a good chance with this being that his reading at that time was about 330,500 km's.

Sadly, we did not win. With 330,500 km's we were no where close to winning. The winner had an unbelievable reading. Take my reading and multiply it by three! Her 1990 Jetta (same as Vivian) had 939,000 km's and change! WOW!!!

Unfortunately we didn't win the contest but after a 10 year relationship Vivian and I know that deep down we do have the Vee Dub With The Most Love ;)

I just did a double take on the picture, noticing that the needle was pointing at 120km/hr. Who was watching the road?

That was on purpose...just to see if anyone would notice:)

Moi - Yes, Vivian is very much a part of the family:) Will be a sad day when we have to say goodbye.

I can't believe he didn't win! I thought for sure you had a really good chance! Well, I am sure he will see some more KM's before retirment...we gotta go to Camrose one last time with him if we can!

I guess Consultant beat me to it... I was going to say... "do you think it's wise to be driving 120km/h while taking a picture?!?!?"

Everyone is presuming that I took the picture:)

And yes - Vivian has to go with us to Camrose one last time! There is too much history to be able to say no to that:)
