The night was finished off (around 2:30am) after watching 4 local/Juno nominated Canadian groups at Quincy's!
Music speaks what cannot be expressed, soothes the mind and gives it rest, heals the heart and makes it whole, flows from heaven to the soul.

Juno Cup
Rockers vs. Greats...this game was hilarious. And a ton of fun...an actual game, relays, singing, and jokes filled the Corral as we watched the game. All part of the Juno fun...so typically Canadian that we, at a music awards weekend, would have a hockey game:) The Greats are in white and the Rockers are in red.

Paul Potts
Off to see Paul Potts this evening! Bring on the jokes, etc. I am excited to see him. I love his story, and I personally think that he has a lot of talent. Can't wait to see this British boy live, to see how he does and how he interacts with the audience.
"Potts said that he had been bullied in school, and that experience may have had an influence on his lack of self-confidence. He made a similar remark in 1999 — that his voice had always been a source of solace in the past when bullied."
Just goes to show you how powerful music can be!

Too long!
This is a photo that I took a few weeks ago from the ridge where I live over looking the west side city and the mountains. Pretty:)
Ever wonder when things will just run smoothly? I do, but then at times, I’m so glad changes and decisions, bumps and turns come about because I think it would be a little mundane otherwise.

Nakiska
Well I do look like a bit of a fool, but a day of skiiing in Nakiska with a friend of mine was fabulous! Many runs completed, and I could go into a spiel about why I look as foolish as I do but I'll leave it at this: It was a fabulous day and really the mountains don't care how you look just as long as you have a great day! :)

Thankful:)
I love you.
Take the leap.
Say the words you really need to say.
Make the changes you need.
I am so happy you have found each other.
I am so fortunate to have you back in my life.
I’ll visit as soon as I get the invite:)
You frustrate me, but I still love you.
You will be able to make it through the next little bit – I’m here for anything you need.
I don’t see enough of you…we need to change that!
Congratulations on the new job – I am sad to see you go though.
I will help you with anything you could ever need.
Take the chance and jump off the edge.
I can’t wait for the announcement!
Congrats!
Kiss your boy(s) for me and give them a big hug.
Take the time to slow down and look around you.
Come visit.
I’ll catch you.
There is always room for you to stay – anytime you need to get away from the real world you can just stop by for as long as you want/need.
Find what you really want and go after it.
Excuses will only go so far, and then you have to act on it.
I’ll try to be patient.
I can’t wait to see you in a few months!
I miss you.
